Scientists test new Drug's hidden effects on common pills
NCT ID NCT07388511
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how a new drug called elenestinib might change how the body processes two common medications: a sedative (midazolam) and a birth control pill. Researchers will give these medications to 20 healthy adult women, both with and without elenestinib, and take blood samples to measure drug levels. The main goal is to see if elenestinib makes these other drugs stronger, weaker, or last longer in the body, which is important for future patient safety.
