Scientists test how common meds affect experimental drug

NCT ID NCT07242781

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how two common medications (itraconazole and rifampin) affect the body's processing of an experimental drug called AR-LDD. The research involves 42 healthy adult male volunteers who will take AR-LDD alone and then with each of the other medications. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and monitor for side effects to determine if these common drugs change how AR-LDD works in the body.
