Scientists test new Drug's hidden effects on common heart and cholesterol pills

NCT ID NCT07215260

Summary

This study aimed to see if a new drug candidate, BI 3000202, changes how the body processes two common medications: rosuvastatin (a cholesterol drug) and digoxin (a heart drug). It involved 14 healthy adults who took the two common drugs together, then took them again along with the new drug candidate. The goal was to measure any changes in drug levels in the blood to understand potential interactions before larger trials.
