Balloons may beat stents for tough heart blockages

Summary
This study compares two treatments for people with completely blocked heart arteries (chronic total occlusions). One uses a drug-coated balloon to open the blockage, sometimes with a stent; the other uses a stent alone. The goal is to see if the balloon approach works as well or better, possibly reducing the need for permanent stents. About 200 adults will take part, and researchers will check artery health after one year.
