New balloon treatment aims to avoid heart stents
NCT ID NCT06915597
Summary
This study is observing how well drug-coated balloons work for treating blocked heart arteries in different situations. It will follow 1,500 patients in Turkey to see if this method, which can sometimes avoid permanent metal stents, is safe and effective in the short and long term. The goal is to gather real-world data on outcomes like heart attacks, repeat procedures, and survival.
