Scientists trace new Drug's journey through the body
NCT ID NCT03381404
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how a new drug called MT-8554 is absorbed, processed, and eliminated by the body. Six healthy male volunteers took a single oral dose containing a tiny, safe amount of radioactive tracer to help track the drug. Researchers measured drug levels in blood, urine, and stool to learn how the body handles it and checked for any side effects.
