Scientists test if breakfast changes a cancer Drug's power

NCT ID NCT06075277

Summary

This early-stage study tested how eating food affects the body's absorption of an experimental cancer drug called BI 1810631 (Zongertinib). Sixteen healthy men took a single dose of the drug once after fasting and once after a meal. The goal was to see if food changes how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream, which helps researchers plan how to give the drug in future patient trials.
