NCT ID NCT06129474

Summary

This study is testing a new program to help family doctors safely stop or reduce the dose of stomach acid medications (PPIs) when patients no longer need them. It will involve 400 adults in Switzerland who are taking these drugs long-term without a clear medical reason. The goal is to see if the program works to reduce medication use without causing worse stomach symptoms.
