Head-to-Head heart drug trial seeks best treatment for irregular heartbeat

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common types of medicine is better for controlling a recent irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation). Nearly 1,900 adults diagnosed within the last year will be randomly assigned to take either Dronedarone or a standard drug like flecainide. Researchers will follow participants for at least a year to see which medicine better prevents the irregular heartbeat from returning, has fewer side effects, and improves daily life.
