Drones race to save hearts: UK tests flying defibrillators

NCT ID NCT07430813

Summary

This study is testing if drones can quickly deliver Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to people having a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital. Researchers will run practice scenarios with manikins and interview the public to see if the system works and if people are comfortable with it. The goal is to create a faster way to get life-saving equipment to patients, which could improve survival chances.
