NCT ID NCT00577200
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people can drive safely right after minor surgery with newer, short-acting anesthesia drugs. About 625 adults who have a valid driver's license and are having minor procedures will take a driving simulator test before leaving the clinic. The goal is to see if certain drug combinations affect driving skills, so doctors can give better advice about when it's safe to get behind the wheel.
