A drop of blood could catch hidden infections in drug users

Summary
This study checks if a dried blood spot test can effectively screen for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and AIDS in people who use drugs. About 500 former or current intravenous or nasal drug users, or those on opioid therapy, will provide a blood spot sample. The goal is to find active infections and make screening easier for this high-risk group.
