Summary
This study looks at children having surgery to remove a common neck lump called a thyroglossal duct cyst. Some kids get a small drain placed during surgery, and some do not. The goal is to see if using a drain lowers the chance of problems like infection, fluid buildup, or needing extra procedures. About 178 children will take part to help doctors learn the best way to recover.
