First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether removing drainage tubes sooner after a special type of breast cancer surgery (nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction) is safe and improves patient satisfaction. About 379 women aged 18-70 will be randomly assigned to early or standard drain removal. The goal is to see if early removal leads to better comfort, fewer complications, and higher satisfaction with breast appearance.
