Heart monitor after valve surgery could spot hidden rhythm issues
NCT ID NCT07521800
First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of checking heart rhythm after a procedure called TAVI (replacing a heart valve without open surgery). Half of the 250 participants will wear a portable ECG monitor for 30 days, while the other half get the usual short hospital monitoring. The goal is to see if longer monitoring finds more heart rhythm problems, like slow heartbeats, that need treatment.
