Summary
This study looked at whether a computer analysis of liver biopsy images (called FibroNest Ph-FCS) can predict serious liver complications in people with a type of fatty liver disease called MASLD. Researchers reviewed data from 1,241 adults who had a liver biopsy and were followed for at least one year. The goal was to see if this digital score is better than standard methods at identifying who is at risk for liver failure or other major liver events.
