Could a common pill be the key to beating tennis elbow?
NCT ID NCT04686799
Summary
This study is checking if a very low dose of the antibiotic doxycycline is a practical addition to standard home exercises for treating persistent elbow tendon pain (like tennis elbow). It will see if patients are willing to try it and stick with the treatment plan. The goal is to gather early information to design a larger future trial for this low-cost, non-surgical option.
