New drug aims to boost daily living skills in down syndrome

Summary
This study tests whether a daily pill called AEF0217 can improve everyday skills like communication and self-care in adults and older teens with Down Syndrome. About 188 participants will take one of three doses of the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers will check changes in behavior, thinking, and quality of life, while also monitoring safety.
