NCT ID NCT06666400
Summary
This study is testing a special support program for new mothers, delivered by trained doulas, to prevent postpartum depression and heart health problems. The program starts in the hospital and provides support for six months, focusing on Black, Latina, and Medicaid-eligible mothers in New York City. Researchers want to see if this continuous, empowering support can improve long-term health outcomes for mothers during this critical time.
