Early hope for CF diabetes? new drug trial begins
NCT ID NCT06995651
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a drug called dorzagliatin can help control blood sugar in adults with cystic fibrosis (CF) who also have pancreatic problems and diabetes. Fifteen participants will take the drug or a placebo for one week each to see how their bodies process it and if it improves their response to sugar. The goal is to see if this medication could become a new option for managing diabetes related to CF.
