Could donor milk fix a Baby's gut after a C-Section?
NCT ID NCT06177184
Summary
This study is testing if using donor breast milk instead of formula helps build a healthier gut in full-term babies born by C-section. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria, growth, and sleep of 90 babies who get either donor milk or formula when they need extra food in their first week. They will also check on the mothers' mood and breastfeeding success.
