Summary
This study looked at how very low birth weight babies (under 1250 grams) are fed donor human milk in the NICU. The goal was to see if current feeding practices follow guidelines and to check for electrolyte imbalances that can cause serious symptoms. The study involved 150 premature infants at Texas Children's Hospital.
