Summary
This study tested whether trained social service dogs could help children who struggle to attend school. Researchers compared 64 children who received support from dog teams to children who received support from special education teachers. The goal was to see if spending time with dogs could improve school attendance, motivation, and learning outcomes over a 10-12 week period.
