Summary

This study looks at whether spending time with a therapy dog can reduce anxiety and stress in graduate students. Thirty first-year grad students will have their pain sensitivity and stress hormone levels measured before and after interacting with a dog. The goal is to see if regular dog visits can help students feel calmer and less stressed.
