Puppy love prescribed for grad school stress?
NCT ID NCT07036354
Summary
This study is testing whether spending time with a therapy dog can help reduce anxiety and stress in graduate students. Researchers are comparing students who have four short sessions with a dog to students who receive general health education instead. They will measure anxiety levels, stress hormones, and physical pain sensitivity to see if the dog interactions make a difference.
