First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether regularly massaging a baby's skin can change how their immune system works. Researchers will compare daily massage, twice-weekly massage, and no massage over 8 weeks in 109 healthy babies up to 6 months old. They will measure immune signals and skin health to see if massage has any effect. The goal is to understand how touch might influence early immune development.
