Summary
This study tested whether adding a prostate cancer vaccine (PROSTVAC) and chemotherapy (docetaxel) to standard hormone therapy works better than hormone therapy alone for men whose prostate cancer has spread. 74 men with metastatic castrate-sensitive prostate cancer took part. The goal was to see if the combination could boost the immune system's ability to fight the cancer.
