NCT ID NCT06462313

Summary

This study tested whether adding a heart medication called dobutamine to standard care improves outcomes for patients with severe septic shock who need surgery under general anesthesia. It involved 584 adult surgical patients to see if the drug could help protect the heart and kidneys, potentially reducing complications and death. The goal was to find a better way to support these critically ill patients during a dangerous procedure.
