NCT ID NCT04977076
First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether it is safer to keep taking or temporarily stop blood thinners (DOACs) in people with atrial fibrillation and heart disease who need a heart procedure like angiography or stenting. About 1,270 adults will be randomly assigned to either continue or pause their medication. The main goal is to see which approach causes fewer major bleeding events.
