Kidney stone surgery bleeding risk: less than we thought?
NCT ID NCT07360795
First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at 500 patients who had surgery for large kidney stones to find out how much bleeding actually occurs. The goal was to see if the real-world risk is lower than what is often reported in medical literature. The study only included patients treated by one surgeon at one hospital, so results may not apply everywhere.
