Faster UTI test? study pits DNA tech against old method
NCT ID NCT06808451
Summary
This study is testing if a new DNA-based test can diagnose urinary tract infections (UTIs) better than the standard urine culture. Adults with UTI symptoms will be randomly assigned to get one of the two tests. Researchers will then track how quickly symptoms improve, how long treatment takes to start, and if patients need to return for more care.
