New Plant-Based treatment tested for chronic stomach discomfort

NCT ID NCT05248802

Summary

This study tested whether a plant-based medicine called DLBS2411 could improve quality of life and reduce symptoms for adults with functional dyspepsia, a common cause of recurring stomach pain and fullness. For 4 weeks, 106 participants took either the treatment or a placebo pill twice daily. Researchers measured changes in stomach pain and daily life impact during treatment and for 8 weeks afterward to see if benefits lasted.
