Summary
This study tested whether a blood test called DiviTum-TKa can help doctors check if patients with advanced breast cancer are taking their CDK4/6 inhibitor medication correctly and if other drugs are interfering. The test measures a marker of cell growth. Researchers hoped to see if using the test could improve how well the medication works. The study involved 34 patients with ER/PR positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that had spread.
