Old alcoholism drug repurposed to fight tough sarcomas

Summary
This early-phase study tests the safety of adding disulfiram (a drug used for alcoholism) and copper to a standard chemotherapy for sarcomas that have returned or not responded to prior treatment. About 24 adults with relapsed or refractory sarcoma will receive the combination. The goal is to find a safe dose and see if the approach can help control the disease.
