During robot-assisted urologic surgery, the patient's arms are tucked at their sides, which can kink or compress a standard wrist artery catheter, causing inaccurate blood pressure readings. This trial tests whether placing the catheter in the distal radial artery (near the back of the hand or anatomical snuffbox) reduces such problems. Seventy adults scheduled for robotic urologic surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either a conventional wrist catheter or a distal hand catheter. The study will track how often each method leads to catheter dysfunction requiring intervention.
