Dissolving stents tested to clear clogged heart arteries
NCT ID NCT02973529
Summary
This study compares two types of dissolving stents (Absorb and Desolve) used to treat blockages where heart arteries branch. It aims to see which stent is safer and allows the artery to heal better. Researchers will follow 120 patients for up to 10 years, using special imaging scans to check how the artery heals around the dissolving stent.
