Researchers test best time to send gallbladder patients home

NCT ID NCT06236074

Summary

This study aimed to find out if a patient's readiness to go home after keyhole gallbladder surgery can be accurately assessed 4 hours after the procedure, instead of the usual 24 hours. Researchers compared a standard scoring system at both time points in 60 adult patients. The goal was to gather information that could help make hospital stays shorter and more efficient for suitable patients.
