Summary
This study compared an experimental oral blood thinner (Dimolegin) to standard heparin injections (Clexane) for preventing dangerous blood clots in 215 adults undergoing hip or knee replacement. The goal was to see if the pill works as well as the shot while being easier to take. Results will show how many patients developed clots or bleeding problems in each group.
