Can a digital coach help rural america lose weight?
NCT ID NCT06105957
Summary
This study aims to improve online weight loss programs for people living in rural areas, where obesity rates are higher but in-person programs are scarce. Researchers will test three types of extra support—weekly video group meetings, personalized feedback from a coach, and individual coaching calls—added to a 24-week digital program. The goal is to find the most effective combination of online support to help 616 rural participants lose weight and keep it off.
