New digital dental scans put to the test against Old-School molds

Summary
This study aims to see if new digital scanning technology is as accurate as traditional putty molds for creating custom dental implants for people who have lost all teeth in a jaw. Researchers will compare the fit of the final implant framework made from each type of impression. About 24 participants will have their jaws scanned or molded and return for several checkups to see how well the final implant fits.
