Study tests if digital scans make Better-Fitting braces than Old-School molds

NCT ID NCT07338591

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to make a specific type of orthodontic appliance called a palatal expander. Researchers will compare three methods: the traditional way using physical molds, a hybrid method, and a fully digital method using 3D scans. They will measure how well the final expander fits, how long the process takes, and how satisfied patients and dentists are with each method.
