Digital tech vs traditional: which cataract surgery gives better vision?
NCT ID NCT06460389
Summary
This study compared two approaches for cataract surgery using special lenses that help with both distance and near vision. Researchers tested whether using digital assistance technology during surgery leads to better visual outcomes than traditional methods. The study involved 40 patients with cataracts who received either digital-assisted or standard lens implantation, then measured their vision at different distances and surveyed their satisfaction.
