Digital vs. Hand-Drawn: which method gets your eye lens placement more accurate?

NCT ID NCT07176897

Summary

This study compared two methods for marking the eye during cataract surgery to improve placement of lenses that correct astigmatism. Researchers tested a digital marking system against the traditional manual marking method in 41 patients aged 50-90. The goal was to see which approach resulted in more accurate lens positioning and better vision outcomes after surgery.
