Can 3D-Printed dentures chew better than Old-School ones?
NCT ID NCT07290933
Summary
This small study aimed to see if dentures made with modern 3D scanning and printing technology help people chew and swallow solid food better than dentures made the traditional way. Fourteen people who had lost all their teeth tried both types of dentures for three months each. Researchers measured how they ate a cracker to compare chewing efficiency and swallowing ease between the two denture types.
