NCT ID NCT05160233
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at how to best offer digital treatments (smartphone apps called reSET and reSET-O) to people with opioid, alcohol, or other substance use disorders during their regular primary care visits. Over 18,000 adults in Washington State took part. The goal was to see if adding health coaching or practice coaching helped more patients use the apps as recommended. The study did not test whether the apps work, but rather how to get them used in real-world clinics.
