Summary
This study tested a digital tool designed to help breast cancer patients feel more prepared and less distressed during radiotherapy. 160 patients in Sweden were randomly assigned to either use the new smartphone app alongside standard care or to receive standard care alone. The app provided virtual tours of the treatment department, practical information, and educational videos to improve patients' understanding and confidence.
