App aims to curb suicide in soldiers: a digital lifeline?

Summary
This study tests a smartphone app called Aviva that delivers therapy to help service members reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors. About 400 participants with recent suicidal thoughts or attempts will use the app or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the app makes it easier to access effective help and lowers suicide risk over 12 months.
