Phone app aims to train your face to fight sleep apnea
NCT ID NCT07292922
Summary
This study is testing a new digital therapy program for people with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. The program uses a phone app with facial recognition to guide people through mouth and throat exercises, aiming to strengthen muscles and improve breathing during sleep. Researchers will compare 60 participants, with half using the app for 3 months and half waiting, to see if it reduces apnea severity and improves sleep quality.
