Digital storytelling may ease depression in young cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT07052110
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if creating a short digital story about their cancer journey can reduce depressive symptoms and improve self-esteem and quality of life in Hong Kong Chinese teens who have finished cancer treatment. About 248 survivors aged 13-18 will either join four 2.5-hour workshops to make their story or receive usual care. The goal is to see if this creative approach offers emotional support beyond standard medical follow-up.
