Phone app aims to ease stigma for pregnant teens with HIV

Summary

This study created and tested a digital program for unmarried pregnant teenagers with HIV in Kenya. The goal was to help them understand and cope with stigma, and to improve their ability to talk to family members about their HIV and pregnancy. 169 teens and their caregivers took part. The program was found to be usable and acceptable, and may help teens feel more confident and supported.
