NCT ID NCT07213453
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This pilot study tested how accurately temporary veneers could be made using two different digital smile design methods. Five healthy adults with good oral hygiene received 60 temporary veneers designed either by a 2D-to-3D method or a direct 3D method, then 3D-printed. Researchers measured tooth widths, lengths, and distances to see which workflow produced restorations that matched the digital plan more closely.
