Digital smile showdown: which design workflow wins for temporary veneers?
NCT ID NCT07213453
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested two digital methods for designing temporary veneers (thin tooth covers) to see which one makes more accurate restorations. Five healthy adults with good teeth and oral hygiene took part. Researchers compared a 2D-to-3D method using photos versus a direct 3D method using scans. The goal was to find out which digital workflow produces temporary veneers that match the planned design more closely.
